At The Wood House Company our values are at the core of everything we do.

We are looking forward to the day when we can see a few more plane tracks in the sky through our glass roof gazebo’s. ✈️⛅️☀️
This gazebo was build using a maintenance free cladding (lots of colours available), oak beam detail and white timber rafters. It creates the perfect spot for an outdoor space you can use throughout the year, and can be built onto the side of our garden rooms and annexes, your house or as a stand alone gazebo.

With so much going on in the world, it is now more important than ever to keep your loved ones close. We have created many annexes for our customers to suit each and every individual need. Whether that be a place for your parents to have their own space close by in one of our annexes built in your garden, or for your children to live where they maybe can’t yet afford a place of their own. We offer a range of moderns and traditional annexes and install across the UK.

We built this garden room onto a concrete slab as the rear of the building was a garage. The garage had anthracite grey modern roller shutter doors, and the front of the garden room was an office with aluminium french doors and and corner window. The cedar cladding is treated with a UV oil which makes the colour and grain of the wood look amazing! This was the summer when I spent my evenings building my very own garden office before I started my business. I wanted to move away from working with a large engineering firm as a structural engineer, and took a chance to follow my dream of starting The Wood House Company. This has given me the opportunity to learn so many new skills, architectural and CAD design, carpentry, electrics, and much more. Today we celebrate International Women's Day. I feel proud to be a female running my own construction company. I was one of 3 women on an engineering degree surrounded by 200 men. The numbers are growing all the time and it feels great to be part of the industry. That being said I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of my team, family and friends.

The most important aspects of the design were natural light, a spot to prepare and clean their tools, and an exterior finish that would suit the beautiful surroundings.
